Andy Warhol was an artist who was born in America in 1928.
As a child, Andy Warhol became ill. While he was ill, he like to draw and collect pictures of movie stars.
Andy Warhol studied Comercial Art, and he got a job as a magazine illustrator.
He used printmaking to make images. The printmaking technique meant that he could repeated images in different colours.
Andy Warhol used printing to create popular art also know as the 'pop art movement'. The pop art movement began in the 1950's and became really popular.
