Starting a new job as an apprentice was very exciting. Children were able to learn from their masters and earn money for new clothes. They would also be nervous because they wanted to impress their masters.
They could also feel a bit sad because they had to leave school and their friends.
At the end of each day they would feel very tired after all of their hard work. They would also be excited for the next day to learn more skills.
