Community gardens reply completely on members of the community running them. However, the jobs in a community garden are voluntary, and people do not get paid to help run them.
Although a lot of people in our community are unemployed, lots of peope have full time jobs. This means that they would not have the time to help. The people who are unemployed could be searching for jobs where they get paid, instead of voulenteering.
Some members of the community may not want to sacrafice the free land we have to build a commuity garden.
